It's official. The future is now. Why? Not because of space travel, not because of waterproof cell phones or even just the brand new cell phone clocks. No, we have finally reached the "future", because after many years of patiently waiting and lots of fake products, actual hoverboards are officially a real thing. A company called Hendo has brought our Marty McFly-inspired ambitions to wonderful reality, and they recently let Tony Hawk try out their own amazing design. The only problem here?
You need a Tony Hawk bank account to get hold of one of these bad boys. Do not believe me? A 5-minute ride (with the help of Hendo staff) costs you a hundred dollars, a duplicate board without a glider (so just a bit fancy wood, really) gives you $ 449 back, and an actual glider is $ 10,000. Sure, it's a lot of money, but at the same time it's a freaking hoverboard, one that you essentially might own and run at all times. It's time for you to start saving!
The hovering action is not as serious as Marty McFly's board. Hendo Hoverboards will hover about an inch above the ground. I've seen several negative people out there whining about how the hovering action is small. I would very much like to remind you that this is known as a first generation hoverboard, knowing that the one inch Hendo allows you to hover exactly one inch more than we had with anything before the introduction of the Hendo Hoverboard. Now you simply need some of Marty's bad kicks to completely deliver you to hover in fashion. At this point, there is also a brand new hoverboard available in the current market (sort of). It's like a hoverboard, but it's called a mini segway, and the cool thing about it is that it's out of control, and you've probably noticed it once or twice! These amazing two-wheeled electric scooters only move when using your legs, so there is no need for steering at all. With these mini segway hoverboard popping up all over the world, it makes us think about how fast and fast times are changing and what on earth is next for technology. There are many places where the mini-segway is for sale, so if you are interested, check out a local electronics store! Hendo is actually in the process of designing 2nd generation hoverboard right now and they said they think they will launch it in 2017. So if you are looking forward to getting your hands on a hoverboard, or should I say legs than support Hendo!
